Accessibility Statement
How we make Citt.ai usable, including with assistive technology.
This statement covers citt.ai, the therapist portal, and the client portal. It is a current-state account, not a claim of full conformance or a third-party audit.

Commitment
Citt.ai is a therapist-supervised care platform. People using it include clinicians, practice staff, and adult clients. Some of those people use keyboards only, screen readers, magnification, captions, or high-contrast settings. We treat that as a product requirement, not an optional extra.
Our design target is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, including the UK Equality Act 2010 duty to make reasonable adjustments and the spirit of EN 301 549. We have not completed an independent accessibility audit and we do not claim certified conformance.
Conformance status
Partial support, internally reviewed. Public legal and marketing pages generally use semantic headings, visible focus, and text alternatives for brand marks. Signed-in therapist and client portals are more complex and have known gaps listed below.

What this covers
- Public website at www.citt.ai, including Trust, Privacy, Terms, Cookies, and this statement
- Therapist portal (practice, sessions, notes, billing)
- Client portal (messages, check-ins, appointments, billing)
It does not cover third-party checkout or calendar windows (for example Stripe Checkout, Google Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook) that open outside Citt.ai. Those products have their own accessibility statements.
Measures already in place
- Legal and policy pages use a document layout with a skip link to main content, a single page title, and structured headings.
- Primary navigation and forms are designed for keyboard use. Focus is visible.
- Interactive controls on care surfaces target at least 44 by 44 pixels where we have already rebuilt them.
- Text can be enlarged with browser zoom. We do not lock viewport scaling.
- Crisis and safety information is provided as readable text, not as image-only instructions.
- Cookie choices are available from the public site footer without requiring an account.
- Colour is not the only way we mark required fields or errors on rebuilt forms; we also use text.
Known limitations
These are the gaps we know about. We list them so you can plan, and so reviewers can see we are not claiming a clean bill of health.

Compatibility and assistive technology
We design for current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on recent Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. We intend the product to work with:
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Screen readers in common use (NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Browser zoom up to 200%
- Operating-system high-contrast and reduced-motion settings
We have not published a formal compatibility matrix from a lab audit. If a combination you rely on fails, that is a defect. Please report it.

If a barrier stops you using Citt.ai, email declan@citt.ai (Declan Ahern). Say which page or task is blocked and which assistive technology you use, if any.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests within five working days and to offer a practical adjustment. For clients in care, your therapist remains the clinician of record and can also raise the request on your behalf.

Next planned improvements: skip links on remaining public pages, automated accessibility checks in CI, and keyboard and screen-reader passes on session and billing flows.
